Peer Review Policy
Review Model
DRP journals operate a single-blind peer review model, in which reviewers know the identity of the authors but not vice versa. This model protects reviewer anonymity while allowing authors’ work to be evaluated on its scientific merit.
Reviewer Selection
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the relevant field, their publication record, and their ability to provide constructive and impartial assessment. At least two independent reviewers are invited for each manuscript.
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to:
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively and constructively
- Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and its content
- Declare any conflicts of interest that could compromise their assessment
- Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe
- Not use manuscript content for personal advantage
Editorial Decision
The handling editor considers the reviewers’ comments and makes a decision based on the scientific quality, originality, and significance of the work. Decisions may take the form of acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
Appeals
Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision may contact the editorial office with a detailed explanation of the grounds for appeal. Appeals are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or a designated senior editor.
