Submission Guidelines
Language
All manuscripts submitted to Darcy & Roy Press journals and conference proceedings must be written in English. Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to have their manuscripts proofread before submission.
Originality and Duplicate Submission
Manuscripts must report original research that has not been published previously and is not under consideration by any other journal or conference. Simultaneous submission is not permitted. Authors must disclose any prior publication of the work, including preprints, in the cover letter.
Authorship
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a substantial contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission. Any change to the author list after submission requires written approval from all authors.
Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the work. A conflict-of-interest statement must be included in the manuscript, even if the authors declare no conflicts.
Data Availability
Authors are expected to make their data available upon reasonable request. Where applicable, a data availability statement should indicate how the data supporting the findings can be accessed.
Funding and Acknowledgements
All sources of funding must be declared in the manuscript. Acknowledgements should recognise contributions that do not meet the criteria for authorship, such as technical assistance, administrative support, or editorial guidance.
Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any copyrighted material, including figures, tables, or extended quotations. The source of any reused material must be clearly cited.
